Read a Book for Burroughs

Ne'erketeers, sound off!!

(awkward)

Today being William S. Burroughs's birthday (he woulda been 93), I've decided that we should, on this day every year, ask one another what we are reading. Me, I just started a book called the Pirate Coast. It's about the Barbar pirates and Thomas Jefferson's administration in 1803. Mo says my book sounds boring and Michael Arthur says it sounds like homework. I defy you, Mo and Michael Arthur, to find me subject matter MORE interesting than Thomas Jefferson, real live pirates, and America's FIRST foreign secret ops mission... to overthrow Tripoli!

See how fun and exciting this is?

So.... what are YOU reading?

Oh yeah... the Ne'er Do Evers are playing Pete's Candy Store on the 28th. BOO YA. Also, we have some Ne'ers pics going back to November I hope to get up relatively soon. In the meantime, here's a picture of my grandfather and I on Christmas.

I also said the movie-version, starring Nick Nolte and Johnny Depp, would probably be good.

Now I'm reading Salem's Lot.

John Tuturro could play the kind of Tripoli.

Salem's Lot is an AWESOME book. I've read it a few times, it's one of the few books i've read more than once.
